Description

Regardless of shooting experience this is an excellent course for all shooters. This course will give individuals the skills necessary for the safe handling of handguns of several types. This course is designed to give the individuals the confidence, understanding, and discipline for safe handgun handling and accurate shooting. This is an eight (8) hour block of instruction involving six (6) hours of classroom instruction and two (2) hours of practical training at the shooting range. By the end of this course individuals will have a better understanding of how handguns function, the various parts, and how to safely handle and store personal firearms. Once you have successfully passed the classroom test and qualified on the range you will receive a certificate of completion.

Cadre: Troy Rhoades will be the Lead Instructor (Reg #: 21-1518) and Chief Range Safety Officer for this class.

Troy has over 19 years in the private security sector with additional experience as a private investigator and Range Coordinator. Troy is currently a Arkansas CHCL & E-CHCL instructor (Reg. #: 21-1518), a certified NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, and Chief Range Safety Officer (CRSO). He was also a Glock Armorer from 2005-2008.
